BABY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
Portraits for babies 3 months to 12 months old
Capture your little one's first-year journey! In my baby sessions, backdrops and props are kept to a minimum allowing your baby to shine and be the star of the session. My goal is timeless portraits that will still be in style 20 years from now.
TIMING YOUR SESSIONS:
Plan to come regularly during the first year. Your child will change more this year than you ever thought possible. From a 7 pound newborn to to walking toddler! It’s amazing!
Most parents prefer one of two options:
The traditional 3, 6, 9, 12 month photo session. One session every 3 months and you won’t miss a thing! New smiles, new teeth, clapping, crawling, and every milestone captured!
OR…
Focusing on the three major milestones: Tummy Time using arms, Sitting Up unsupported, and the First Birthday. This 3 session approach still captures everything, but highlights the more significant milestones your baby achieves.
Whichever option you choose, every session is filled with joy, capturing the magic of your baby's journey for you to cherish for years to come.
PLANNING YOUR SESSIONS:
No need to plan! My studio has a large closet filled with photo-ready clothing sized 3-18 months for you to use. Of course, you can bring your own outfits too. I have tons of backdrops, little chairs, photo-ready toys, etc. All you need to bring is your baby!

BABY MILESTONE Session Packages:
Ann Lyle Photography is an all-inclusive baby photography and newborn photography studio. All sessions include a session and high-resolution digital images. Because you will get your digital images with your session, you have a choice in printing services. You are welcome to print your photographic art yourself or you have access to my high-end printing services. I have a wide range of professional printing options including beautiful albums, wall art, prints, gifts, and more.

Not sure when get baby photos in the first year?
Right now, coming to the studio for major baby milestones is the most popular timing. These milestones are: Tummy Time, Solid Sitter and First Birthday.
Tummy Time Milestone
Recommended: 4-5 Months Old
Tummy Time session (for babies about 4-5 Months old):
This session is designed for babies who aren't sitting up yet and like to do tummy time or grab their feet. This is a such wonderful time for your first baby portrait session because your baby’s personality has now developed and you can see it shining through the camera. The session will look very different than a newborn session because your baby is much more grown up, but still captures that very little/very first milestone stages.
During these sessions, we will work on capturing their smile and their ability to hold up their heads. This session typically lasts 30 minutes, but I'm flexible with session timing. If your little one needs a break, we take one. Sessions are relaxed and fun. Plan on having a good time and lots of laughs!
Solid Sitter Milestone
Recommended: 6-9 Months Old
Solid Sitter Session (for babies 6-9 months old)
This is it. If you only pick one time to photograph your baby in the first year, this is my recommendation. This age is right when your baby looks like a quintessential baby. This session is designed for infants who can sit up on their own for several minutes.
Prepare yourself for a fun time! Laughing, clapping, sitting, and maybe even crawling will be the focus of this session. Music will be played and your child and I may have a fun game of peek-a-boo to get some smiles. If your baby has new teeth, I will work on getting some awesome smile shots to show them off. The time in the studio is about 30 minutes.
First Birthday
Recommended: 11-12 Months Old
First Birthday Session
A whole year has passed and it's time to capture that cutie with an amazing portrait session! You may have a walker, you may not, but you will definitely have a big kid by this point. It’s incredible to see the change from the newborn stage to 1 year. We can do a traditional portrait session, or customize the session with balloons. This session is a celebration of an amazing year accomplished. We will photograph your little one sitting, standing, and showing off all they have learned over the year.
You can opt to do a Cake Smash session instead or do a combination of a Portrait Session and Cake Smash. More information can be found on the CAKE SMASH PAGE
